<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=NdXNpTdon-Di2N_SN4JE9FC5mAsDBHGx1SblOBpMbqqYcqZyrZRCwgBW_kUwGrW9Bbi0HSSUO8JgdcKJPlTjVg~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">delay or cancel the August recess<\/a> for the chamber in order to complete negotiations and reach an agreement with the Senate on the next coronavirus relief package.<\/li>\n<li>Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) continues to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=I7nIjCWLhCmbj_UA3p6soxKcpiF6jngVg1dlHeDnw0aCrOlWvap2pP5ds45IJyl8__E6BHbEXbGt7z452yzbgg~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">outline<\/a> aspects of his COVID-19 relief package, which is expected to be released this week.<\/li>\n<li>Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Patty Murray (D-WA) released a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=W5niIl0_sqbr_2hZldWE-I_-34MNvw2NbXmGw_QSz8Rsopp0gFEKqeUPL2n7Y1xveuX6-vTmUTDB3GsD23Rc6g~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">white paper<\/a> outlining a number of proposals to ensure COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, high quality, produced at scale, allocated in a manner that optimizes public health and reduces health disparities, free and accessible to everyone, and widely embraced by the public in order to end the pandemic and set the country on a path for economic recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) announced the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=bW-hllx_D9b3Jdbc5XSvsp2gZ16qoHpebjCHCSbM_bQHjLoVsnCmHqrQYERppWB9r9bC18AkEqhmyYmapnkcpQ~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">COVID-19 Bias and Anti-Racism Training Act<\/a>, legislation to ensure health providers and other individuals involved in COVID-19 testing, treatment, vaccine distribution, and response receive bias and anti-racism training.<\/li>\n<li>Senate Democrats unveiled a proposal, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=XSEkKDfnw1yz8NG62JN_-aCKdI4jDw9iLlJdAX6mA43mnb4HzAsIslvca994b3f62fmDEnRbGzQfMQmAQrTaYg~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">Economic Justice Act<\/a>, which would offer $350 billion in child care, job training, health care, and minority community investments.<\/li>\n<li>Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) introduced H.R. 7538, the <a Workforce Parity Act<\/a>, which would extend paid leave required by the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act (FFCRA) to health care workers and offer liability protections to hospitals and other medical providers from certain lawsuits during the COVID-19 emergency declaration.<\/li>\n<li>Representatives Joseph Morelle (D-NY) and Mark Takano (D-CA) introduced <a to create a massive new jobs training program to combat COVID-19 and help communities across the country safely re-open.<\/li>\n<li>Representative Tom Rice (R-SC) will introduce <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=kWfmq7RAW_Fe1Pb2HljBcNgXtUmOOk0gievg48FAHejmfLiK1MgIwTV3bQkYS20am2IfsZ7cQs7TmIB0xzizaA~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">legislation<\/a> to provide a tax credit for businesses to safely reopen and pay for extra safety measures amid the coronavirus pandemic.<\/li>\n<li>Ways and Means Republicans introduced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=7EqyqBfesHLLMTN5xi_UodkQopztCpoypScyHJiP79FC0xFFepdfSOziiH4g56Gy9orayxqRciljD7rv-Fp7YQ~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">two Testing Transparency Act<\/a>, which would require the Trump Administration to share COVID-19 testing data with Congress and the public.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Administration<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>White House spokesman Judd Deere issued a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmsend79.com\/link.cfm?r=ACRdacfZbv2s_EZccZ7iNA~~&amp;pe=A5XMpsYxnOIMMLikkFxQ5rPRokNzMHGY5mJ2UB8gLNxkV6IoUim2zMP2TiM2XD2ZPdpG7p48WoGV4vfOZSDiEA~~&amp;t=cOTaGb5-1B2MwuGLBZVhrw~~\">statement<\/a> that President Trump will not sign into law a phase four coronavirus relief package that does not include a payroll tax cut.<\/li>\n<li>The Department of Labor announced a <a
